Three Greenland Kayaks

Roger Ballelos, Dave Littlejohn and Val Wann built Greenland kayaks in June of 2005. Roger's boat was 21" wide, Dave's was 18" wide and Val's was 23" wide. Roger at first wanted a wider boat but after paddling one of my 21" boats, decided that 21 inches would be just fine for him. Also helping out with Roger and doing videography was his girlfriend Lindsey.
The Boats

The setting of the class was the waterfront at Jack London square in Oakland. Here the finished kayaks are sitting against the backdrop of the local moorage.
